Our Story

Vintoop was built to solve one of the biggest problems in the vintage clothing business: buying wholesale vintage should not feel like buying a blind box.

My name is Jason. I have worked in the secondhand clothing industry for more than 10 years. In the beginning, like many people in this industry, I thought secondhand clothing was mainly sold to Africa, the Middle East and other lower-income markets.

Later, I started to understand vintage clothing more deeply. After meeting many vintage shop owners and resellers, I realized something important: many people enter this business because they truly love vintage. But almost all of them face the same problem: sourcing.

Most vintage wholesalers sell pre-packed bundles. Buyers see sample photos, but they do not know exactly what items they will receive. Sometimes the quality is inconsistent, and sometimes dishonest suppliers use good samples to sell weak stock.

In 2023, I registered HongKong Tikoo Sustainability Ltd. Over the past three years, I built my own vintage picking team. Today, our pickers work directly inside multiple secondhand clothing sorting factories, selecting goods according to our own standards.

Our company is based in Hong Kong, with operations in Karachi, Pakistan. Pakistan is an important global hub for secondhand clothing, because large volumes of used clothing from Europe and North America are shipped here for sorting and grading. Vintage picking, cleaning, checking, measuring and photographing all require a huge amount of labor. Being close to this supply chain allows us to do this work more carefully and efficiently.

Vintoop was created for vintage shop owners, online resellers and boutique buyers who want more control over their inventory.

Instead of selling blind bundles, we photograph and measure every item before uploading it to our website. Buyers can browse real available products, choose the exact pieces they want, and build their own custom vintage bundle.

At the moment, we focus on vintage clothing. In the future, we plan to expand into Y2K, upcycling, recycling and other valuable secondhand clothing categories.

Our goal is simple: make vintage wholesale more transparent, more honest and easier for buyers around the world.
